Training resources and lab capabilities

Lab Access

The W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory will be closed for renovations from July 2025 – January 2026. Some lab functionality will be moved to other parts of the building, including:

  • Sewing and Finishing
  • Knitting and Spinning
  • Weaving

Stay tuned for updates on the re-opening of the W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory in 2026, and opportunities to get involved with the space.

Training Resources

The W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory has many machines and materials. While we want to provide opportunities to learn, we want everyone to do so safely and with the good of the space in mind. Stay tuned for more training resources to be available in the new Flex Factory space open in early 2026.
